1. Introduction and Scope
Vertex Digital Systems LLC (“Vertex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides cloud infrastructure, managed IT support, and related professional services. As our services are sold through our online reseller Paddle.com, who is the Merchant of Record, all billing and refund transactions are conducted under Paddle’s terms of service and this policy. This policy applies to services ordered through vertexdigitalsystems.net.
2. General Principles
We maintain transparent billing practices consistent with industry standards.
- Fees are due as set forth in your agreement (monthly, annually, or per project).
- Payment Processing: All transactions are securely handled by Paddle.com.
- Refund Eligibility: Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. While we strive for customer satisfaction, work already performed in accordance with a signed agreement is generally non-refundable.
3. Subscription Services & 7-Day Guarantee
For our standard cloud hosting and infrastructure subscriptions:
- Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for initial subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied with the service performance, you may request a refund within 7 days of your first purchase.
- Cancellation: You may cancel recurring services at any time. Cancellation will stop future billing, but pro-rata refunds for partial months are not provided unless required by law or specific agreement.
4. Project-Based and One-Time Services
For one-time engagements (e.g., migrations, custom setups):
- Work Performed: Fees for completed project milestones are not refundable.
- Deposits: Any advance payments are applied to work performed and are non-refundable once the project has commenced.
5. Billing Disputes and Refund Requests
If you believe there is a billing error or wish to request a refund:
- Contacting Support: You may contact Vertex support at support@vertexdigitalsystems.net or reach out to Paddle.com Customer Support directly, as they handle the financial aspect of the transaction.
- Review Process: We will review your request in good faith. If a refund is approved, it will be processed by Paddle back to your original payment method.
- Processing Time: Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
6. Exclusions
We do not offer refunds for:
- Domain name registrations or renewals (once processed with the registry).
- Third-party licenses or software procured on your behalf.
- Accounts terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
